(Due to problems with the last measurement, I redid the measurement again with better results.)

There are two PRIR's. Both different mic insertions. The second one was done with higher gain set on the preamp just to see if there is a differnce in PRIR sound. You be the judge and let me know if you hear any differences.

2.1 Channel System:

Speakers:
This ia a 2 channel sysem with a subwoofer. The speakers are custom built by the owner. He repurposed old cabinets and put his own drivers in. Each driver is in it's own enclosure and each driver is amped separately. There is no crossover. All the crossover, EQ, room corrections, etc. are all done in the digital domain using a Behringer DCX2496 processor.

Amplifiers: 6 channels of Adcom amps. Adcom GFA-565 x2; Adcom GFA-2535 4 channel amp

Preamp: Behringer DCX2496 processor is used as a pre-amp, but he was using his Windows PC as a source and volume control.

I generated a 7.1 PRIR from their 2.0 channel system. (There was no way to take a subwoofer only measurement since it was being driven by the Behringer crossover.)

J'ai testé à peu près tous les PRIRs disponibles sur l'Internet, celui-ci a ma préférence absolue sur tous les aspects suivants :
- Spatialisation 3D
- Précision, netteté, exactitude, justesse des timbres, vibrations de cordes, petites notes douces, tout cela est bien préservé
- Pas d'effet écho/brouhaha/imprécis
- Taille des enceintes qui impose un son majestueux (on est dans une piece dont les murs sont des enceintes géantes)
- Graves profondes sans être dénaturées, trop "boomy"...
- Marche aussi bien pour les voix, l'acoustique, le concert rock live, le film d'action...

Un enregistrement qui sonne de façon magistrale dessus : Toto - Africa (live) issu du DTS Music Demo Disc avec piste-son DTS en 5.1.
